For all those entertainers who are boycotting Florida, who cares?  For the people who think boycotting Florida until they change their stand-your-ground law is somehow noble, you are working from a state of pure emotionalism.  You are just pawns being used by the Obama Administration.  Will you also be boycotting all the other states with stand-your-ground laws?  So many bad things happen when the mob is in an emotional frenzy.  Reminds me of sharks feeding.

Instead,  why don't you channel that emotional energy to places like Chicago or DC and do some good works there?  Many people are being killed daily in Chicago, and no 'celebrities' are boycotting that place.

"Many states have some form of stand-your-ground law. Alabama,[14] Alaska,[15] Arizona,[16] California,[17][18] Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa,[19] Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana,[16] Maine, Massachusetts (though the term is used very loosely there),[20] Michigan,[16] Mississippi, Missouri, Montana,[16] New Hampshire,[16] North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma,[16] Pennsylvania,[21] Rhode Island,[22] South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee,[16] Texas,[23] Utah,[24] West Virginia,[16] Wisconsin[25] and Wyoming have adopted Castle Doctrine statutes, and other states (Iowa,[26] Virginia,[27] and Washington) have considered stand-your-ground laws of their own.[28][29][30] "

"The Florida version of the law states that "a person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.""

Forget about thinking it was staged.  That's what politicians do.

"Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago," Obama told White House reporters in a surprise appearance at the daily briefing.

So, he would have sucker-punched a guy, thrown him down on the ground pounding him, and bashed his head over and over on a concrete sidewalk?

And all the media can gush about is how Obama was off-prompter.  Which, by the way, was extremely disingenuous.

Zimmerman/Martin

I read a few posts on FaceBook about the Zimmerman/Martin case, mostly directed about the POTUS mishandling his remark(s) concerning the case. In the BIG picture, the POTUS' regime is lawless and permits, nay, encourages lawlessness as long as it agrees with the regime's agenda. The POTUS never has anything to say about REAL egregious behavior that IS of national concern, like Eric Holder's 'Fast and Furious' debacle or the New Black Panthers placing a bounty on a citizen who has not even been charged with a crime.

Murders are local matters unless they cross state lines. Why the POTUS thinks the entire nation and all law enforcement should be involved in the Zimmerman/Martin case is ridiculous.

Sensationalising the shooting in Florida is a set up, and plenty of people have been played for fools.
